Watch out for the drop bears!

First thing I thought of, too. You were too fast for me.

I am in my 60s. I travelled Australia wide. Never any health concerns
encountered. However make sure you do have health insurance just in
case despite your awareness someone else makes a mistake and you end up
in hospital.ex. while travelling back from Disney in Florida i was
stopped in a line of traffic and a truck swerved and took myself and 3
other vehicles out.

Are there any special health risks in Australia I have to prepare myself
for? I will just travel a few weeks there. Any recommendation is greatly
appreciated.
cheers,
marc

Travelling in QLD XXXX is a hazard, so are cane toads usually found lurking
outside the dunnies at caravan parks, notably at Julia Creek. I've never
seen a wild camel, so wouldnt know about that. Saw a wild drinker in a pub
in Gulgong - when I told him Reschs wasnt worth cleaning your teeth with.

Out of interest: What is "QLD XXXX"? I know what "QLD" stands for and
(at least to me) "XXXX" is a beer, but the combination doesn't make any
sense. "Cross-country"?

Nah, drinking XXXX is a health hazard - drink a real beer instead.
