Informed opinions on Cruise Value Center?
nopcbs, I booked one cruise through CVC 6-7 years ago. The TA
telephoned to let me know my tickets arrived in the office. This cruise went out of San Juan, so I used the cruise line to book my air. I asked the TA what time my flights were, but he said it was against the company's policy to tell me. I would have to wait until the tickets arrived by mail, although he was sitting there staring at my documents. I was not happy with his response. If you are looking for a good TA, just ask some of the people in this group. I can recommend a few TA's who rebate, they do not charge cancellation fees, nor do they have policies like CVC. I can assure you, the TA's I use would have given me my flight information. Becca -----hoping you find a good TA you can trust... Informed opinions on Cruise Value Center?
Becca,
Given that I book via web site and the air tickets are e-tickets and I pick the times/flights before I buy, your experience will not occur for me. Don't know why they would not tell you your flight numbers by phone, but I guess I can see a security issue there, I suppose. On the other hand, I'd think you would know what you are buying before you bought it. I sure would never buy a ticket for any travel unless I knew the departure time/location/etc beforehand. Not about to risk weird scheduling. - nopcbs "Becca" wrote in message ... nopcbs, I booked one cruise through CVC 6-7 years ago. The TA telephoned to let me know my tickets arrived in the office.
