Default Trip to Benidorm in May

My wife and I plan a trip to Benidorm Spain in May. We have been to
Alicante some years ago, but wonder if there is a train available from
the airport of Alicante to Benidorm.
Thanks for any help.

Everything you need regarding the train you mentioned and the new bus
service direct from Alicante Airport to Benidorm is here and it is very up
to date.

I just typed in 'Alicante to Benidorm train' in the Google search engine.

I have been to Benidorm many times and I absolutely detest Alicante airport,
it's just too busy and desperately needs a new terminal. You will agree with
me after you have queued there for an hour or two or three.

Just to annoy you, my first and only trip to then unknown Benidorm was in
1966.
The airport then (4-engined prop job through a thunderstorm, and maybe 4 or
5 hours from UK) was this tiny airfield called Valencia.
Benidorm was a single line of hotels (with a few sidestreets) either side of
the old town.
Standing on a hill somewhere near, this old lad showed us all the orange
groves behind the town. "In a few years that will be built up back to the
mountains" said he.
We didn't believe him, of course ............
It was a nice place. How is it now!!!!!!!
