Place to stay and sitights in Nuremberg?
I will be travelling to Nuremberg in the middle of March for a week or
so to attend a conference. Can anyone reccomend a hotel, B&B or such to stay in while I'm there? There will be three of us. Also, can you recommend any interesting sites? Cheers, Chris in Vancouver, Canada |

Not really: A hotel search and booking service: http://www.hrs.com Hostel in Nuremberg http://www.backpackers.de/index-nbg.html Also, can you recommend any interesting sites? Nuremberg: http://www.nuernberg.de/english/tour...tourismus.html old city, DB railway museum, documentation center Trips: Bamberg http://www.bamberg.info Rothenburg ob der Tauber http://www.rothenburg.de/ Würzburg - the residence http://www.schloesser.bayern.de/engl...kte/wu_res.htm There is a special rail ticket available - the Bavaria-Ticket (EUR 21,-) which gives unlimited travel on a weekday (Mo-Fr) past 9am for the whole state of Bavaria, but only on local trains (RB,RE,IRE). This ticket is valid for up to 5 persons travelling together. In Nuremberg and Munich this ticket is valid on all public transport (U-Bahn, trams, buses) - not just local trains. |
