Default Place to stay and sitights in Nuremberg?

I will be travelling to Nuremberg in the middle of March for a week or
so to attend a conference.
Can anyone reccomend a hotel, B&B or such to stay in while I'm there?
There will be three of us.

Also, can you recommend any interesting sites?

Cheers,

Chris in Vancouver, Canada

Nuremberg:

old city, DB railway museum, documentation center

There is a special rail ticket available - the Bavaria-Ticket (EUR 21,-)
which gives unlimited travel on a weekday (Mo-Fr) past 9am for the whole
state of Bavaria, but only on local trains (RB,RE,IRE). This ticket is valid
for up to 5 persons travelling together. In Nuremberg and Munich this ticket
is valid on all public transport (U-Bahn, trams, buses) - not just local
trains.

The real charming old town being one of the most beautiful in Germany.
Railway museum and toy museum are both worth visits.
