Can anyone supply me with a list of hotels in Ipanema, Leblon, and
Copacabana, that are very near to "por kilo" restaurants?

My last visit was great, but food became somewhat of a hassle because my
Portuguese is zero. I've tried using phrase books but all I ever get are
looks of sympathy.

Thanks!

The Leblon Inn might be a good option for you. The address is Rua Dias
Ferreira, 15, Leblon.

That is not far from Restaurant "Celeiro" at
Rua Dias Ferreira, 199A

This is an excellent "por kilo" style restaurant. The quality of the food is
very high, lots of fresh salad items and gourmet choices.

Feel free to write for more info.

Well, why not go to the self-service restaurants - there are numerous
ones in Ipanema where you eat by the kilo. My advice is the same as Miss
Piggy's: don't eat more than you can lift.
