no, the comment was about availability of disposable income in a first-world
country as opposed to a 3rd minus country. I'm unabashed in my zeal for low
fares whenever I can get them

I'm not "poor" in the sense of "broke", just that I have to pick and choose
how I spend my money (and more importantly how much of it I spend)
