I've been on a bunch of cruises in the past, but never has the
opportunity to visit St. Maarten's.

So I'm going next week. Anyone have any tips or ideas?

Quite a bit to do there. You have plenty of shopping there on both the
Dutch and French sides. You can visit the main cities on both side to see
the difference between them. They have some wonderful beaches as well. The
Dutch side is more 'family' orientated with the French side just being
French and topless or nude beaches. You can also do the parachute rides at
Orient beach on the French side. You can even rent a car and just drive
around the island sightseeing. The ship will also have a number of tours
that you can take. Enjoy.

Take your wife and go visit Orient Beach on the French side.

What does Pinel Island have to offer?

TOM!!!

How come youi have not taken us on the brothel tour! DANG! I want to
see a brothel! Come on you had us go to Pinel so we can be topless now
there is money making and you do not take us!

If you really want to see smething different, get in a cab go to the
"girlfriends".

In the middle of this beautiful island is a brothel where girls from all
over the world work. I had been to St Maarten many times before a
resident took my wife and I for a drive there.

This is a 1/2 Dutch island and just like Curacao and Aruba brothels are
legal.

There are a couple of bars and you can rent chairs. There is
snorkeling. But the main feature is that it is fairly deserted since
you have to take a taxi to Cul de Sac, and a boat to the island. The
island is in Orient Bay.

Orient Beach is also a great place to go. That beach does not require a
boat ride. Orient Beach is a popular beach with lots of bars and
restaurants. That is where I usually go on St. Maartin when I am not on
a cruise with Tom. If you go to Orient Beach I recommend telling the
Taxi driver to drop you off at either the Kakao Beach bar or Bikini
Beach bar. Those two are next to each other on a nice part of the beach
and you can rent chairs and umbrellas, plus they have beach wait
service.

The best way to describe it....

Imagine a cruise ship private island with 50 people instead of 3000 people.
Imaging beautiful scenery, with islands in the distance. White sand
beaches. Calm, clear, warm water. A short boat ride to the island. Then
add topless.
