Viking Group Announce their 2010 13th annual Cruise
Hi Charles
We were in the new cruise terminal in Roatan, Honduras during the first of our B2B on the Ryndam. This is called Mahogany Bay, and is the one with the "ski lift" type of transportation to the beach. The lift costs $5.00 for an all-day pass, but, it is set up so that they have to stop the cable each time a chair is loaded or unloaded on either end. They should have a revolving platform at each end so they wouldn't have to stop it for loading/unloading. As it is, even an old guy like me can walk to the other end in about 1/10th of the time it takes to ride the chairs. It is quite unique though and the terminal site and the beach are really well done. Tobieon an Island in the Pacific "Charles" wrote in message d... Roatan has a brand new cruise terminal and I think Belize is the tubing place. -- Charles |

We were just in all of those ports, but the weather was mostly lousy. I hope next December is better. There are great beaches there and Belize has the 2nd largest coral reef. Maya ruins all over the area. I like reefs and Maya ruins. I intensely dislike Dolphin Encounters. Wild animals are kept captive in pens and there are many that die during the capture for these enterprises in the Caribbean. -- Charles |

I have always disliked horse racing, dog racing, and zoos in general because there is no reason for them. Marsha |
