Default Yellow Fever: Botswana and Zambia

I would like to take an excursion from Kasane in Botswana to Vic Falls,
Zambia side. Officially one must have a yellow fever certificate to
re-enter Botswana, yet some say it is not asked for.
My wife cannot have the vaccine and we would like to see the falls from
Livingston side......anyone know?
Also are there tour operators in Kasane that arrange short tours to
Livingstone......a day or two? I would prefer to leave my vehicle out
of Zambia and would not consider taking it into Zim just now.

Regards, Philip

When I travelled from Botswana to Zambia, to Zimbabwe and back to
Botswana, nobody asked for any vaccination proofs at all. Done that trip
twice. Are you sure this Yellow fever is required? I thought only if you
come from Kenya of Tanzania or that area.

Regards,
Hans

Not sure where the information came from Hans, perhaps Lonely Planet.
There is Yellow fever in the north of Zambia. You didn't cross directly
from Zambia into Botswana? I think I'll tentatively put Vic Falls in
the itinerary. Thanks,

Phil
