Niagara Falls Hotel with good view of falls.

My Italian husband and I were there last summer and he was horrified that Canada had allowed such monstrosities to be built so close to the falls. And you've been ranting about it ever since. Enough! I never bring it up unless someone inquires about a falls view hotel... Which happens regularly. If you're going to repeat your posting, I'll repeat the response. It's a CITY. Subject: Niagara Falls Hotel with good view of falls.
From: B Vaughan Date: 4/18/04 3:01 PM Eastern Daylight Time I never bring it up unless someone inquires about a falls view hotel, and I don't find it inappropriate in that context. And please continue to do so. There is absolutely no need to get over it. Incidentally, I will continue to complain about "modern" motels that can't be bothered with a "vacancy/no vacancy" sign forcing weary travelers to stop and ask if a room is available. Ridiculous! |

om... Thanks to all who posted on which hotel and what to do in the hotel room. Just wondering - if you can hear the roar of the falls, is it possible to get any sleep? It could sound as if you left thousands of water taps running! On the contrary, I would suggest that the roar of the falls might actually HELP you fall asleep versus keeping you awake. Haven't you seen the sleep-aid CDs, noise-makers, etc which have running streams, rain, and waterfalls? Keith Pittsburgh |
