Just found this whilst pruning through old bookmarks http://www.visitbelgium.com/BelgiumEvents2009.html I've checked and it's still alive. So what was wrong with using Trip Advisor? But so far I haven't really found anything. What is a good site to do this search on? I can recommend the Hotel Marion in Oostende. Actually, the hotel rooms have been a bit neglected and look a bit tired, but that's because they have been concentrating on the "bar area" of the hotel. In fact, what just used to be a standard-sized hotel bar has now become a fully-fledged pub in it's own right, with over 300 different beers, more than 50 Jenevers (gin-based drinks) and various other stuff - it's brilliant. http://www.hotelmarion.be/ Pete |

And what I do get have high prices and low ratings. And then there's the 20 euro/person that seems to be the standard price for breakfast. |

Whenever I have tried to match what they offered with another booking engine, the alternate price has always been higher. tim |

And so it's quite possible some sort of events info may be of interest in steering said flexibility. |
