Berlin railway stations
When travelling by train from Amsterdam to Berlin, what railway station
should I exit the train to be closest to corner of Landberger Allee and Weissenseer Way (Grand city Hotel landberger Allee 203, Berlin). Will I be able to get either a Ubahn or Sbahn train from that staion if required to get closer to that location, if so what staion should I get out of that U or S bahn train to be near that intersection. Thanking you in anticipation Please reply to list as my address is a dummy due to massive SPAM regards John H |

Berlin railway stations
You ask as if one train is going to take you all the way --- when you get to
either Berlin train station there are plenty of maps. Overall: http://www.grandcityhotels.com/hotel/hotel_liste.html shows no Grand city Hotel landberger BUT I checked their maps and found THIS - a HOLIDAY INN http://www.grandcityhotels.com/Holid...t/Lage,27.html If your connection goes thru West Berlin: From their website: From Zoologischen Garten, take the S5/S7/S9/S75 as far as Alexanderplatz, then change to either the M5 or M6 tram. OR From East Berlin station: From Ostbahnhof, take the S3, S5, S9, S75 to Warschauer Straße, then change to the M13 tram and alight at Landsberger Allee/Weißenseer Weg. If you want S + U bahn info, look around here - "S to the left" and "S and U to the bottom" of the address. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Allee+...,0.087547&z=14 "erilar" wrote in message ... Thanking you in anticipation The simplest connection seems to be S-bahn to Warschauer Straße and then tram M13 towards Virchow-Klinikum. That goes to your intersection. You can also take a combination of S-bahns to Landsberger Allee and walk for 6-700m. Consult the route maps at the station. |
