Travelocity Hotel reservations
I've found a good deal for the Disney Contemporary Resort at Travelocity.
I've never booked with them, though and don't know if there will be any hidden fees. For those of you who have used Travelocity, what should I expect? Thanks! Natalie |

If you are skeptical about using the system, see if you can get the
same rate using one of the mousesavers codes (at www.mousesavers.com) "Natalie" wrote in message link.net... I've found a good deal for the Disney Contemporary Resort at Travelocity. For those of you who have used Travelocity, what should I expect? Its been a long time since I previously booked a hotel room via Travelocity. As for hidden fees, that might depend on the hotel. If you have any doubts, pick up your phone and call the hotel. You might even get a lower rate that way. |

VA and threw 100 US tax payers out of a job. They are moving the jobs to India. Have a great vacation!!!!!!!!!!! |

I used it for Beach Club one year. No problems or hidden fees, but
canceling may be a problem. Janice "Natalie" wrote in message ink.net... I've found a good deal for the Disney Contemporary Resort at Travelocity. Very often with these booking sites, you have to pay the entire stay upfront, and the cancelation penalties can be very harsh. If you go through the hotel directly, they will often give you a better price than Travelocity, and you will be able to cancel up until the last moment, and will only have to put a one night deposit to guarantee the room. |

Travelocity charges $25.00 to cancel a reservation as long as its done a
few days in advance. "jane" wrote in message ... cj wrote: Natalie wrote: I've found a good deal for the Disney Contemporary Resort at Travelocity. Travelocity Hotel reservations
Hi
I think it is important for you to understand the facts Here is the link from Travelocity's FAQ on service charges: http://shorterlink.com/?P5L2L7 In this FAQ, Travelocity advises they may charge a service fee for hotel bookings, but they will advise you of this fee, before you finalize the reservation. Unless you are buying a prepaid package, you do NOT have to prepay the entire stay (you may want to prepay, if the price is favourable compared to the "regular" reservation rate, but be aware of the hotel's cancellation policy). If you want to cancel your reservation, call the hotel direct, and ensure you receive (and record) the cancellation number (you will not receive a refund on Travelocity's service charge). Travelocity is one (of many) good hotel reservation sites. Travelocity is reliable, has been in business for a LONG time, and fees
aren't hidden. I've used Expedia more often, but have also used Travelocity. When you book the hotel, there will be a link telling you preciesly what the cancellation policy is for that exact booking. Usually there is a modest fee, and you are allowed to cancel (sometimes as late as the day of arrival). There might be a small booking fee, but nothing outrageous. If there is a fee, they will clearly tell you. Christine "Natalie" wrote in message ink.net... I've found a good deal for the Disney Contemporary Resort at Travelocity.
