Default Delta (Travel Insurance)

How do I go about buying travel insurance? What would it cover? Can I
go to any travel agency and buy it? I already bought the plane ticket.
Do I have to buy it through Priceline since that is where I bought the
ticket ? Is it very expensive?

Thanks

Terri

I think you are talking about Airline Failure Insurance rather than a
traditional travel insurance policy. Here in the UK the latter can be purchased
almost anywhere but it wouldn't cover an Airline ceasing to operate. (It
typically includes medical cover, baggage loss, missed connections etc). I think
it very unlikely that you would find it possible at present to insure at a
sensible premium against Delta going out of business. Does your credit card not
give you some redress should that happen?
