Mauritius early morning flight depature

we have a flight leaving Mauritius at 7 in the morning next month, and
we are staying on the other side of the island. Any suggestions on
options like low cost hotels near the airport?

Which is "the other side" of the island?
You can probably get to the airport from anywhere on the island by car,
within 1 hour, or about 1hr30 max. from the North. If you really want to
stay near the airport, look for an apartment in "Blue Bay" or
"Mahebourg" which are about 5 - 15 mins. away from the airport, you can
get some relatively low cost ideas from www.hostelworld.com
