A statement that clearly shows that Mark Demers, aka Ira Humperdink,
likes drinking **** and spit.

There are over 1,000 Chinese now living in Copenhagen, most of whom are
professionals in the fields of business and science, some nuclear physicists
doing research at the Niels Bohr Institute, some exchange students doing
graduate studies, and some very successful restaurateurs. I am an opera
singer singing at the Danish Royal Opera. I have not adopted anything.
Unlike you, John Venning is my real name, and you can check it by doing a
simple Google name search and even see pictures of me. Yes they are all
true - I have been an engineer in the Far East, and a member of MI6, so be
careful of what you do - you have been warned. I was born in Indonesia, and
had to change my Chinese name when the Chinese were persecuted, and used a
name consisting of my patents' surnames.

Possible, but improbable, since I tried them in no less that 9 places
during the 4 times I visited Beijing. I wrote this on an earlier answer to
this thread, that two of the places to which I was invited were landmarks of
Peking duck in Beijing - the one serving the "fat" Peking duck, and the one
serving the "thin" Peking Duck. I haven't tried the "poor" Peking duck,
which is the third. Had I been told this fact about the 3 Peking duck
restaurants, I would probably dismiss it as tourist attractions, but I was
told this by the ex-ambassadors to Denmark, who were treating us to what
they pride in Peking duck. I then mentioned the wrappings, and since they
all had tasted the one I mentioned in Copenhagen, they quickly agreed. Our
favourite restaurant is still the one at the Jian Guo Men Wai Hotel - great
food. I make a point of patronizing it at least twice during all my trips. I
have tried two restaurants serving Peking duck in New York - good, but not
great.

That might have to do with where you've had your duck in Beijing, but
more likely, what you think is "too thick."

OK, so you're an opera singer who swears and calls people an idiot on
the internet. let's just hope your patrons don't read all that stuff,
eh?

i don't know about changing names... if you change your name, you still
look chinese and what do you say when a persecuting indonesian asks
"what is your ancestery"? do you then lie?

What is M16? never heard of it. i bet the green berets kick your ass.

Whatever expletives I may use were directed solely and meaningfully to
the likes of you. My patrons worship me, and know full well that the likes
of you are not to be tolerated.
The Indonesians couldn't care less about what we looked like, just as
long as we did not have a Chinese-sounding name. With a lot of suntan, I
could pass as a native.
Well, if you really don't know what MI6 is, then there is no point in
trying to explain it to you, is there?

now, what did your people do to the indonesians to deserve such
treatment?
more importantly, how do YOU feel about yourself going through life
hiding your ethnicity in order to be "accepted" by your countrymen?
Are they "accepting" you for who you are, or who you pretend to be?

You lead a false life, my friend. I could change my name to John Smith
to avoid antisemitism, but I do not do that; it would be hypocritcal.

This persecution can be traced to the same roots as why Germans hated
Jews. The Indonesians wanted to erase our national identity by forcing us to
change our names to anything that doesn't sound Chinese. I do not hide my
ethnicity, because I declare that I am Chinese wherever I go. I have been
awarded the honour of being Denmark's Ambassador of Music, and when I
accepted the honour, I stated that I am not Danish, and the Danish Minister
of Culture said right out that I am a Dane with Oriental looks.
I put it to you that *you* lead a false life, and don't call me your
friend, someone might just believe it.

Then why don't you have the backbone to resist this coercion??? Why do
you dishonor your ancestors by dumping their name for political
purposes?

Istated that I am not Danish, and the Danish Minister of Culture said right out that I am a Dane with Oriental looks.

You've been colonized by the danes! they stripped you of your chinese
identity and made you their mascot against your will!

How do you know? As far as I know Danes have colonized nobody in the East.

"Resist coercion", did you say? Why didn't the 6 million exterminated
Jews "resist this coercion" during WW2? You are really talking out of your
league, aren't you, Blithering Idiot? As to honouring one's ancestors, are
you an example? When did the Danes ever colonise Indonesia? Ever heard of
the Dutch East Indies? Nah. As for mascots, I have been made a mascot by
many, both here and in the USA, because of my achievements - something *you*
will never experience. I am the only Overseas Chinese who can brag about
being the only non-diplomat and non-Dane, who was asked to make the formal
opening speech on the Danish Constitution Day in New York.
