MAN! That's a LOT faster than a renewal! We sent ours in April and
they cashed the checks on the 27th of April. Nothing yet! YIKES!

Actually, mine was a renewal. However, my fiance applied for his first
passport the following week and his took 20 days, as well.

I would be contacting the location you sent the renewals to. Did you
send it certified, return receipt or any other record of sending it?

You can also go he
http://travel.state.gov/passport/sta...atus_2567.html to check the
status of the passport application.

More than a month with no passport is currently out of the time frames
for service. A couple of years ago during the great passport rush it
was normal but not now. My renewal from mailing to receiving both the
new passport, cashing the check and return of the cancelled old passport
was just a little over 3 weeks when I did it back in November but the
web site still says 4-6 weeks as of today's date.

The website said that our passports had been processed and were due to
get to us by May 25th. They came today! Whew!!

Howie, I remember you from something like '98 or '99........you came on here
asking all about Carnival cruises and when you were ready to sail you said
you were "off with your cooler in hand." LOLOL.....Hope all is well.
