Default A Palace right in the middle of a lake

Its in India

Hotel Taj Lake Palace is, one of the amazing hotels of the world,
this belongs to the prestigous Taj Group of hotels.

Situated in the middle of the lake Pichola at Udaipur / Rajasthan /
India. hotel Lake Palace is a Palace turned hotel, a heritage luxury
hotel one of its own kind, and the hotel itself is the destination.

The Lake Palace is not so great. I stayed there for 2 nights this past
March. There are nicer hotels in Udaipur, the Obori has nicer rooms
for about the same price as the Lake Palace. We mostly stayed at Taj
hotels throughout our two week tour of India.

I found the Taj hotels to be well below average compared to other 5
star hotel chains in other parts of Asia. The Taj can't hold a candle
to the Raffles, Peninsula or Mandarin Orientals found in various
cities throughout Asia.

Just my opinion.
