HI,
Im planning a trip at the end of the year to Yellowknife late december. Im a little worried about driving up after seeing to extreme cold temps. Is it safe to drive up from Vancouver to Yellowknife late Dec? Thanks, Matt |

The NWT is a very inhospitable place to motorists in December. Services like gas, food, and lodging are very few, far between, and expensive. Daylight hours are few. Places to stop are scarce. The going will be slow. A breakdown could be life threatening. -- K. Lang may your lum reek. |
