Cheap flight Toronto - Frankfurt

Hi all,

I'm looking for a as-cheap-as-possible flight for a friend from Toronto
Canada to Frankfurt Germany. (oneway would be sufficient).

Cheapest i could find so far:

Direct Flight (Air Canada/Lufthansa) : 775.02 CAD (incl. fees)
Bus+Flight+Train (24 hrs travel time...): ~478 CAD (incl. fees)

Any suggestions for better connections?

You don't say when. Air Transat, a charter carrier, offers non-stop one
way flights between Toronto and Frankfurt starting in May for under $500
(CAD), including taxes.

Ah, sorry.
The sooner the better, somewhere in January would be preferable.

United has a US$361 RT BUF-IAD-FRA valid as soon as next week. That's
a terrific price.

If he can't get someone to take him to BUF, Niagara Airbus will take
him from Pearson to BUF for US$70. See
