I have just set up a new website where you can add
your rental holiday property

Your web designer ought to be hung-drawn-and-quartered. There's 120K of
badly web-optimised images alone on that first page and some of the other
pages are even worse. As over 60% of the internet population are on dial-up
lines you're gonna lose an awful lot of 'hits'. :~(

Thanks for the feedback, does the page load in slowly, I have not had
any complaints so far?

People don't complain, because they hit the "stop" button first, so never
even get to the "contact us" page. They just go to another quicker-loading
website, so they get the business :~)

How do I check which images are actually the ones causing a problem.

Go to the website Go to "File" Save as (complete web page) (save it to
"desktop" temporarily then delete later).

Go to desktop double-click on the images folder Go to "View" and set as
details. That will give you the file sizes of all the images used on that
page. Ideally they should not add up to more than about 30 - 35K on a first
page for the benefit of dial-up users (over 60% of all users).

Thumbnails should be no more than 2 - 3K if properly optimised.
Unfortunately lots of web-designers have no idea how to use 'photoshop' (or
similar photo-package) correctly to "save for web".
