Default Engine at Heraklion

Does anyone know the origin/history of the 2-6-0T engine sitting on a short
length of track at the entrance to Heraklion harbour in Crete? Rather
rusty, but 'Z' and '7538' visible on the front buffer-beam.

Thanks

Envo
