KLIA to Malacca in January

Has anyone gone from the KL airport to Malacca (Melaka) in the past
six months? What is the cab fare for a three person group? Any
tricks to getting a good cab? Is this a good idea? How about
returning?

Also, is it easy to get a bus ticket at the airport? Do these have to
be booked in advance?

Hello there. Sorry I haven't personally tried to take the taxi straight
from the airport to Malacca. The trip should not take more than 1hr.
Based on this distance, I reckon should not cost you more than RM150.
Make sure you insist on "Budget" instead of "Premium" taxi as the latter
will cost so much more. Budget taxi (Proton Wira sedan) should be able
to fit 3 people comfortably.



It is easy to get bus ticket from the airport to city center. You don't
have to make prior bookings - quite sure of that.
