Thaipusam 2004 Kuala Lumpur
Just wanted to give a heads up on the Thaipusam date for Feb 2004. Feb 4 early am will mark the start of the Silver Chariot being brought to the Batu Caves from the temple in Chinatown.The festivities go on through Feb 5. Kadavis being carried up the many many steps into the cave. Thaipusam is a Hindu Festival. Lots of cheek, lip & body piercing going on. Hooks in the skin and very little blood if any. Very interesting to witness.
