Venice Hotel recommendations (again)

Last year in this newsgroup I asked for hotel recommendations in Venice and
loads of people suggested Hotel Art Deco. We stayed there and it was
wonderful so thank you all (if you're still around here reading this).

Anyway, next year wife and I are taking her elderlish parents (75 him and 71
her). Both are in generally good health although he does get a bit
breathless if he has to walk a little too far. We're therefore looking for
3 star accommodation around the Piazza San Marco area. The hotel will need
to have a lift as stairs may be a bit of a problem after a day out.

What can people recommend this time.....going towards the end of April 2004,
the weekend after the Easter holiday.
