Default Connection At LAX

Wife will be flying into LAX on United from IAD in February. She will be
departing on New Zealand Air. She is concerned that 2 hrs. won't be enough
(has a bad knee) to get over to New Zealand Air and get checked in. Given
that her inbound flight is on time will 2 hrs. be enough?

Thanks for any help

If she is travelling on a through ticket (rather than having bought flights
separately) then United should check her bags through to her final
destination and issue boarding cards for both flights. Two hours is then
ample to get through Security at Terminal 2.

Thanks for the reply.

She is traveling on a through ticket but United told her since it is a
"codeshare" she must check in with New Zealand Air. She is concerned about
having enough time to get from the arrival terminal to the departure
terminal and then checking in with NZA.

I think 2 hours is pushing it from United (Terminals 7-8) to the Bradley
terminal (Terminal 4). If you have a physical disability, make sure United
knows about it; they may be able to help by driving you between terminals or
at least having a cart/wheelchair available.

You're joking, right?

He HAS to be joking!

First off, Bradley Terminal (BT) is NOT Terminal 4. It's simply Bradley
Terminal.
More importantly, it's a moot point since Air New Zealand is located in
Terminal 2.
Two hours is fine.
