Default Only one day in Fiji. HOw to make the most of it.

Lee,
We were only there for one night because our resort (Shangri-La Fijian on
the Coral Coast) was undergoing renovations and they didn't have our room
ready.
Yes, we would have missed being on the water as we spent most of our time on
the beach.

Peter, thanks for the additional information. The hotel looks nice,
but did you miss being on the water?
Robin, thanks for the web sites. Now I see there are many many tours
to choose from. I'll have to go through all of them and have a look.
BUt I do like the looks of the Victory tours and Rosies.
I'm sure I'll have more questions after I do more reading.
Thanks again everyone.

Lee,

For an idea of daytrips from Nadi check out the following website
It links into full descriptions of around 25-tours you can do

http://www.affiliate.viator.com/broc...NADI&AUID=2536

As for the hotel - I would also suggest the Mocambo.
See their website at http://www.shangri-la.com/eng/hotel/16/index.htm

On my way to New Zealand, I will be stopping off in Fiji for 1 and 1/2
days and want to make the most of my time. I have never been to this
part of the world, and may never get there again. I don't really want
to do any diving or sports type things, but want to see as much as I
can of the beauty of the land and perhaps a village. ANy ideas of
what to see and where to stay ( for one night)?
Are there any full day tours that would be good? and with which tour
company?
I would really appreciate any advice.
