camera). I know the odds of finding a computer in a hotel lobby or Internet
cafe that allows me to do this are slim, but I thought I would pose the
question to those who have travelled to NZ/AU.

If your camera uses a popular card format (like CF cards), uou'll have a
hard time NOT finding an internet cafe with such facilities. In busy
tourist spots, you'll probably won't be able to look any direction
without seeing one.

I would like to be able to download pictures from my digital camrea to a
computer, and then e-mail them home (to save memory card space on the dig
camera). I know the odds of finding a computer in a hotel lobby or
Internet
cafe that allows me to do this are slim, but I thought I would pose the

Any chance I'll be able to do this? I expect I would need to install the
camera downloading software on the computer, unless it had WIN XP.

Thanx for any help.

I spent last year traveling around NZ and it wasn't very difficult to find
places to upload my photos to the internet. In most places (Auckland,
Wellington, Queenstown, Christchurch & Dunedin) internet access at cafes
will be cheap and fast. In some places, it can be a challenge (Kerikeri,
Whakatane, Manapouri etc..). Given how the cost of memory has drop over the
last year, I would pick up an extra card just in case.
