MOROCCO TRAVEL WARNING !!!!

Beware of the filthy sleazy Moroccan Men that wait outside ALL the nicer
hotels, seaports and bus stations and ALL Tourist attractions to
sexually harass Western Women, look lustfully at little boys, and demand
to be your "guide" to PROTECT you from all the other filthy, dirty,
want-to-be- "guides". When you get rid of one, then another even more dirty
and stinky comes up, and on and on. This is an organized racket to EXTORT
money from tourist and business travelers. Their government will do nothing
to stop this ABUSE. It ruined our trip and we will NEVER GO TO MOROCCO
ever again... it's really, really bad.. (trust me !!)

In some places there is hassle in Morocco. But you could have known that
in advance. It does not make all Maroccan people filthy, but the remark
makes you a narrow minded person.

When I bought my first computer in 1998 and discovered newsgroups, Dusty's
post was one of the first things I saw.

It has re-appeared every 6 months or so since then.

I think Dusty suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder and forgets to take
his (her?) medication every so often.

To judge all these people from the actions of afew is bad. This happens
even in the USA.
Just walk away from anyone who bothers you, and say NO.

They do in fact harass you and in some places you can't walk 10 meters
without somebody inviting you into his shop for a cup of tea. But never
mind, bring some patience with you, some common sense or just ignore
them. Morocco is a breathtakingly beautiful country.

I think you are too pesimistic. You can't judge a whole country and
population from one bad experience!

Ripe happenes everywere in the world.Even in Britain(Iain Huntly process
as a small example).

You are saying that the country do nothing about it!

are you sure? are you confident? Did you report your abbuse to the
moroccan police?

I bet you sir that our police is one of the strict police in the world
especially when it comes to visitors cases.

Tourism is a holy domain in morocco and the procecution of may the 16
can tell !

Fair enough you have been assaulted but it does not mean that moroccans
are all perverts!

Despite of that I am so disgusted that this bad act happened in my
country because sexual abuse is totally against our religion and
tradition!
