The Geographic Center of Australia. Looks like it's in the middle of
nowhere. Is there a way to get there?

Follow that camel...

Your description is accurate. And I have no more desire to go there
than I have to go to the geographical centre of the Pacific Ocean.

Why would you want to?

I don't want to. I'm just curious as to how it could be done, or if it were
possible. It's not difficult in the US.

Then we should expect you to STAY AWAY from the US! If you don't like
the US, please, do both yourself and us Americans a favor and STAY AWAY!

Sure! A good gps and a better 4wd. Better take a satphone and epirb as
well - and be prepared to pay big bucks for vehicle recovery and rescue if
necessary.

This site explains where the many 'centers' of Australia lie - and just how
they may be traversed.

As in most issues - there is no simple single 'center'.

all experienced at every level of education!
