Costa offers Cell Phone Service !!!

Was there any talk on the cost of these phones? I myself would not need
it - just curious.

Sept 17 - Some people used to take a cruise because they wanted to be
out of touch. But now with the ubiquity of cell phones people have
gotten hooked on being able to be reached anywhere instantly at any
time and being able to make calls anytime, and now the cell phone is
going to sea.
This is an update of sorts on a story we reported on three years ago
about a new technology that will allow cruise ship passengers to use
their cell phones onboard ship even while at sea. The future has
finally arrived - at least for Europeans - with the first installation
of the system on a Costa ship.
