Bratislav Airport to Vienna
I have booked a flight to Bratislava for Wednesday 8th March (Two
people). The plan is to travel to Vienna, where we have a hotel booked for two nights, then back to Bratislava to stay with friends for the weekend before flying home on the Monday. My question is - what is the most practical way to travel between Bratislava airport and Vienna when we first arrive? The plane is scheduled to arrive at 14:05. I am totally unfamiliar with the area, and do not speak Slovak or German. Peter |

The bus service takes about 2 hours, and goes from the Airport to Südtirolerplatz in Vienna. Timetable he http://www.eurolines.sk/cpz/102806-02.asp?linka=102806 -- Tim C. IIRC the tickets are sold on first come first served basis, and you must buy tickets before boarding the bus. There's also a train connection Bratislava-Vienna. T. |
