Default Short wheelchair accessible tours

I am looking for 1-3 days tours in Jan. - Feb 2005 that are reasonably
priced, swanky hotels do nothing for me.

I use a power wheelchair which makes using a regular coaches out. The
(mini)bus must either be lift-equiped or towing a trailer that I could
stow my wheelchair in. I would also like to visit some islands.

Desired Desinations (so far)
- Blue Mountains
- Capricorn Caves
- Mt. Coot-tha
- Whitsunday Islands
- Magnetic Island
- GBR (Cairns)
- Kurunda
- Rainforest (Cairns, Port Douglas)
- Great Ocean Road
- ...

Thanks.

Mt Coo-tha???!!!

Unfortunately some of the desired destinations you mention are wheelchair
challenged - I don't think Capricorn Caves will be able to cater for you -
theor access page
http://www.capricorncaves.com.au/cap...es_2004019.htm only mention
how to get there by road.

Can you be a bit more specific on your general comment about some
destinations being wheelchair challenged? What are you basing it on?

Capricorn Caves one website, I forget which one, said they were
very accessible, especially Cathedral Cave.

That make no specific mention of wheelchair access on their website. If they
have it buried in text somewhere, they gives an indication of their
recognising people's needs for information - to me access means more than by
car or bus...

Not forgetting that access by non-motorised wheelchair v motorised
wheelchars are also two different matters, unless Steve is able to use a
lighter, mor manouverable non-mototised

Does your chair's recharger accept all power supplies?
