Any Virtual Credit Card For America to Europe Payments
I have a vendor in Europe I pay regularly, and I don't want the hassle of
wire transfers. On top of the time the wires take, our bank charges $90/wire. Is there any relatively cheap way of paying European vendors that won't take more than about a $50 transaction fee? An ideal solution would be one that let me write a check from a U.S. bank to another U.S. account number, and have that automatically become a wire transparently to the check writer. Anything that let us write checks and pay vendors out of a normal accounting process would be desirable. Credit cards charge 3% of the balance being transferred, which for our charges would result in more than $100 of transaction fees, so those would not be a preferred method either. -- W |

Open an HSBC account at each end. The fee was about £30 the last time I checked. -- William Black I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach Time for tea. |
