He's a verbose transplanted yank according to his posts. True, but do you disbelieve them? If so, why? So any negative attitudes came with him. Come on out Janet, and have a wonderful time:-) Of course, and I didn't imply otherwise. Cheers, Kangaroo16 Cheers, Alan, Australia |

Bad punctuation Good Friends. Good Life Janet Do you really feel "insulted" by me, Janet? :-) I don't think you'll find individual attitudes expressed on usenet are typical of the population at large in any country. Very true! If the press I read is correct, there's one Texan who is not only unpopular in this country, but is most unpopular at home as well. He was elected, no? Not by direct popular vote, of course. Electoral College, and all that. Taking politics out of the equation, I believe you'll find the vast majority of Australians themselves most welcoming toward American visitors, just as I have found the vast majority of Americans themselves welcome Australians to their country. Would consider this as true. Enjoy your visit. Of course! Regards David Bennetts Australia Cheers, Kangaroo16 |

Janet, Kangaroo purports to be from the States "Purports"? I could prove it to you, but see absolutely no reason for doing so. but has resided in Australia for some years. Probably longer than you have. Please don't judge the rest of us by his/her standard. "his/her"? ...I assure you that I am a "him". If you don't believe me, then you don't have to read my posts. Frankly I think 'roo has an overinflated view of his/her opinions to the extent that they are inflicted on others whether warranted or relevant. Or else we have a troll on our hands. Whatever you want to think.... Kill-file the imported wildlife in r.t.a-nz and enjoy your trip to Australia. Mel Cheers, Kangaroo16 |

Is there an exemption for an American gigolo held
captive by Australian women? No. My identical twin brother has been in OZ for three years now on a 3 month visa. These women who take turns using him are refusing to pay him other than room and board and have told him he'll go to gaol if he escapes. He wants me to come to Tailem Bend to take his place so he can leave on my passport. What would you do? |

Not exactly Las Vegas:-) I think I'd ask for more details of those grandmas... He wants me to come to Tailem Bend to take his place so he can leave on my passport. What would you do? Well, as I have been happily married for decades, I wouldn't be a good gigolo. Nor would I want to be in Australia illegally. Having reached a ripe old age without ever being confined in a cell, I wouldn't want this particular new experience, although I usually value new experiences. :-) In passing, I don't have an identical twin, and I expect that some members of this group might be thinking "Thank God for small favours!" Although, of course, "identical twins" aren't actually "identical" even at birth. They become a lot less "identical" as they mature. ... We are identical to this day. The only difference is he is right handed and I am left-handed. He has more sexual experience, not counting his three years of capitivy. He is a better business man than I ever dreamt of being. He told me that the economic theory of prostitution is that services are worth more before that after. He made a bad mistake at Tailem Bend. He took care of four women in a 24 hour period expecting to collecting after the fact. He says he was giving a freebie to twin sisters only to find his expection of doing married women in Adelaide was being terminated by the vizens of Tailem Bend. Dick |
