fare. After all, the regular train fare is over $200.

With gas at over $2/gal and depending on what kind of car you have, its
going to cost $150-$225 in fuel costs to drive. Add the wear and tear to
your car and it makes sense to fly even at $400.

It's been a while since I've flown to Spokane, I don't remember what
the price was. I'm thinking of driving at this point, because my wife
will also come which will bring the total for airfare to about $400.
Driving for 12 hours will not be fun, perhaps rail? I haven't taken a
train since I was 8 years old. I wonder what that would be like.
