Were you the guide who carried her to bed, because she was legless, and reappeared after 5 minutes wearing her knickers on his head? Chance would have been a fine, fine thing, although I prefer my ladies sober............ Was so busy last week with a hectic excursion programme (plus a couple of repatriations on medical grounds) that I had little time to think about hrumpty-tumpty, despite the fact that there were some absolutely gorgeous women working on the ship! Maybe next time. Keith, Bristol, UK DE-MUNG for email replies |

Can't have been the same crew :-((( Have you worked as an entertainer on cruise ships? No - but on some (depending on the clientele) I do a cabaret turn on the last night. Some risqué jokes, get 'em singing along to a Billy Connolly song, that sort of thing. Didn't do that on the last cruise, though (for classical music fans) as I'd have probably been about as popular as a pork chop in Jerusalem. Keith, Bristol, UK DE-MUNG for email replies |

We're heading off on a Uniworld Amsterdam-Vienna cruise soon, and while we seem to be headed out of the immediately affected area, does anybody have current info, or a source for it? Of course there's nothing we can do about it, but maybe it will take our minds off of worrying whether Northwest Airlines will actually get us there. I worked on a Danube cruise last week (Passau - Melk - Esztergom - Budapest - Bratislava - Vienna - Dürnstein - Passau). The ship was due to cruise this week from Passau via the Main - Donau Canal and the River Main to the Rhine. Just this minute spoken to a colleague who tells me the ship is stuck at Deggendorf, as the water level is exceptionally high and it cannot get under the bridge there. Keith, Bristol, UK DE-MUNG for email replies I had that happen to me a few years ago on the Danube. Fortunately the tour company had a reciprocal cruise that was stuck on the other side of the bridge. The tours switched boats. |
