"Promises' on taxes to garner presidential votes is a bipartisan
disease and neither party has a monoply on it.

Presidents of both parties get either too much credit or too much
blame on economic policies of government only by the many gullible and
naive among us

High School Social Studies 1, Chapter 1, Page 1, Paragraph 1,
Sentence 1

"The Constitution is very specific about control of the national
economy.

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution directs that only the
Congress may borrow money on the credit of the United States, and
only
congress may coin money and regulate the value thereof..."

Now tell us all about that "Clinton Economic Recovery" when he had a
Republican controlled Congress and then tell us all about Obama
inheriting that "Bush Recession" when Bush had a DemocRAT controlled
Congress and I'll have my first good laugh of the day.

A few RINOs replaced a few DemocRATS in '94 tranferring power but
those razor thin Republican majorities and the switch in 2006 didn't
change ideology at all in the congress.
