Default Airline Voucher

A year ago on the day we invaded Iraq I was going to the Carribean. I
volunteered to gave up my seat in exchange of a $500 voucher valid for
travel within year. CO overbooked because the 757 scheduled to fly
was drafted by Pentagon so they are left with a 737.

I remember some of you claimed the voucher was useless for some reason
or other when I posted on the board. Just to let you guys know I used
it a few weeks ago to travel to England. Althogh England was not my
first choice to spend a week vacation at this time because of the
dismal exchange rate of the dollar, the voucher is as good as money.

I guess the point is that it never hurts to ask the airline if they will
extend the deadline, but they are not required to. I have heard of more
cases of them not being honored after the expiration date.
