Sydney is on of the most exciting, interesting cities in the world.

You will have to be a little more specific in your question.

How much time have you got? When are you coming? What are your interests
(sports, nightlife, scenery, culture, food)? Will you be travelling alone?

See the thread "Sydney - in one day?" from a couple of days ago where
this came up recently.

Briefly, some ideas:

Manly Ferry http://www.sydneyferries.info/, spectacular harbour views.
Opera House
Australia Square (I vaguely remember it's under AU$20 for the viewing
level).
http://www.australia.com/places_to_g...true&L=en&C=AU
or http://tinyurl.com/4ygm5
Darling Harbour
Taronga Park Zoo (see the ferry site)
Any beach - but Manly is best because you also get the ferry
Hyde Park
Luna Park (for kids)
or just wander and meet people down at the Rocks.

How long are you going to be in Sydney?

Cheers, Alan

Also, ferry to Watsons Bay, walk over and look at the coastal cliffs, then
back to Watson's Bay for seafood at the restaurant ($$$), fish and chips in
the park, or seafood and beer at the pub, while watching the sun set over
Sydney. Ferry or bus back to town.

The Sydney fish market for lunch -mmmmm.

The walk from Watsons Bay can reveal some, *ahem*, interesting sights,
mainly around the Lady Bay area.
