Best Guidebooks for Bali?
Greetings,
I travelled for about 5 years throughout the world via backpack and have been "responsible" for about 12 years now. That means that I have a wife, a job and limited time in Bali (about 2 weeks). It also means that I have more money than the $1.50 a day I strived for in the past. I am looking for special accomodations, below $80 a day (obviously would like less if possible), not in a hotel but someplace different. Will want to stay in Ubud for a while for sure. I can use any help at all starting with the best guidebook. I too cursed Lonely Planet many times in the past but there are some benefits to it also. Does anyone have a guidebook that they liked? How about any must do's? Special restaurants? Must don'ts? Thanks for all the help! Gazza |
