I agree. In fact, I am attempting to plan a trip at the moment with no
flights at night and none longer than about four hours, using only
one-world carriers.

So far I've got OOL-SYD-DAR-SIN-BKK-MUM-Dubai.

How did you get from Mumbai to Dubai on OneWorld?

Dave

Cathay CX 752 WTSS, dep 2040 arr 2200, elapsed 2:50.
And you get there from BKK via CX 751.

Still researching from there to Europe, trying to see Cairo en-route but
no luck so far if I stay in one-world.

I think you may remember the reasons for my restrictions, but it also
means I'll do some sight-seeing en-route. I'll spend two or three days
at each stop, except Dubai which I presume is an airport in the middle
of nowhere. I'd prefer Agra to Mumbai, but no airports close to the Taj
Mahal appear to be on the OWE flight plans that I can find.

I'll spend a year or two planning like last time, while I work on my
other half to go again, so plenty of time :-)

Cheers, Alan

Do you REALLY want to sit on an aircraft for 19 hours continuously? 14
hours SIN-LHR and SYD-LAX is bad enough, an extra 5 hours would be
murder (and that is in J).

I agree. I'd take a stopover or two any day.

Changing planes is so easy anyway, especially at Singapore and other
good airports.
