Default ground transport BWI

I need ground transportation from BWI to Arlington, Virginia. Is there
a door-to-door shuttle service available? Alternatively, how easy is it
to access the Metro system? Thanks....

Super Shuttle runs to Northern Virginia, I believe.

Alternatively, how easy is it to access the Metro system? Thanks....

Very easy. There are two ways - MARC commuter trains on weekdays, and
the BWI Airport bus every day of the week.

For the MARC trains, you take a free shuttle bus from the airport to a
nearby rail station, about 5 minutes away, where you can catch a
commuter train to Union Station in Washington, where you can transfer to
the Metro. The trains only run on weekdays, with irregular schedules.

The BWI Airport bus departs from the same area as the railway station
shuttle. It operates about every 45 minutes, and runs non-stop to the
end of one of the metro lines.

Depending on where in Arlington, and if it's a weekday or not -
Free shuttle bus to BWI Airport Rail station.
MARC to Union Station in DC. (MARC only runs on weekdays)
Metro Red Line to Metro Center
Metro Orange line to Arlington (Roslyn, Clarendon, Courthouse, Ballston,
Virginia Square)

Otherwise, there's an express bus that runs between BWI and the
Greenbelt metro station.
Metro Green Line to L'Enfant Plaza
Metro Orange Line to Arlington
