best resort in maldives for honeymooners?
Hello, I have the same dilemma, which Taj did you go to in the end. I have the following options: TAJ Exoctica (expensive) Taj Coral (expensive but seem less of a rip off) or Keredu Isalnd (with a sea plane transfer). Let me know how it went RAV Originally posted by Vik Hi all, I am getting married in Dec 2003,and want to take my wife to the Maldives for our honeymoon in Jan 2004.I was looking at various resorts, and since we are used to the Taj brand in India, was looking at the Taj Coral Reef or the Taj Exotica ..has anyone been there? However, the water bunglows at the Coral Reef look pretty ugly...i mean..we are looking for thatched villas over water..not just plain concrete. The Taj Exotica seems to offer what we want, but is a bit expensive.Could anyone suggest any resort which is reasonable, has good food, thatched villas on the beachfront/over water. We both are non-divers,so would need something interesting to do( then again..we are on honeymoon..so..hmmm). Thanks in advance for all your replies! Vik. -- Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
