In shrinking the STL hub effective November 1, 2003, AA is ending 27
nonstop routes. Included is the service connecting Missouri's two
largest cities -- Is any carrier planning to add this to their
services? The only alternatives to driving are probably the ailing
Amtrak and Greyhound.

Why are more flights needed anyway? Most of the people on the
AA flights weren't going to St. Louis probably anyway, they were
just using the hub. Now they'll go through ORD or DFW on
AA. Southwest flies to STL from MCI and flights aren't full
now.
