You can always use http://www.wunderground.com to see the sunset times and
the local time :-)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/

Just put the town in you want and the five day forecast comes up including
the sunrise and sunset times.

Actually they checked IP addresses, not email addresses.

But wow, you're right - they do seem to have stopped that silly policy
of blocking free access to non-UK readers. It must have annoyed the
hell out of international travellers. On the other hand there are a
lot of those irritating popup ads which Windows XP SP2 can't stop.

Instead they seem to be blocking free access to UK readers to the weekly
archive of print editions on-line.
