Default Mexican Riviera or Caribbean

I am from the east coast and found tat I enjoyed the Mexican Riviera better
than the Caribbean.

The Caribbean gives you much more options, and the weather tends to be
better, too. However, if you live in California, Arizona, or Nevada, then
you don't have to fly which saves a lot of time and trouble in dealing

with
air travel.

I'm trying to decide on a cruise destination. It will either be the
Mexican Riviera or The Caribbean. Any suggestions?
