Default Rijksmuseum renovation

I read that the museum is being renovated. Seeing the museum collection is
one of the high points of this trip. Has anyone been there lately? Was it
disappointing?

Was there last week. It was smaller than I was expecting. Still, fine
material. Just concentrate more time studying each peice. Some of it
is on display at Schiphol, but I don't know how much.

I was there two weeks ago and it was wonderful. The "full" Rijksmuseum can
be overwhelming. All the main works of art are still on display, and it
makes for a nice 1 1/2 hour visit.
