Flagstaff

Hello, I will stay 3 nights in Flagstaff in November. Is there anything to do? One day i will go to the Grand Canyon. Is it possible to reach the snowbowl by public transport? Or should I stay only 2 nights and go (via Greyhound) to somewhere else? (After Flagstaff, i will go to Las Vegas for 3 nights) Thanks Moritz Kahl As you're going by bus you might consider a route that takes in Phoenix, more to do than Flagstaff, and runs on Hwy 93 to Vegas which is quite scenic - the hiway, not Vegas - |

If you get a car, you might like a trip to Sedona and Verde Valley.
Of course Sedoanm is world famous. These are 45 minutes to an hour from Flagstaff. Verde Valley has some great attractiions like National Monuments of Montezuma Castle and Well and Tuzigoot NM. We have a casino and famous Arizona Ghost town, Jerome. You might like to visit our website for information about an evening of old west entertainment and good food. www.blazinm.com SNIP Flagstaff is a great base for visiting some wonderfully scenic parts of Arizona, but a car would be very desirable. That said... SNIP |

There is little in the way of public transport to help you get
around Northern Arizona. There may be tours availabel, or you could rent a car. The foloowing are very much worth visiting within an hour or two drive from Flagstaff: Oak Creek Canyon Sedona Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monuments Walnut Canyon Meteor Crater Petrified Forest ntional Monument (a longer drive) Cameron Indian trading post Sounds great, but it is expensive for me (under 25) to rent a car. The places are only few miles from Flagstaff :-( Moritz Kahl |

But the town itself is a university town and there is some activity for the young there. ************* DAVE HATUNEN ) ************* * Tucson Arizona, out where the cacti grow * * My typos & mispellings are intentional copyright traps * |
