going through dover on average twice a month i find in most cases the french
immigration are not interested in checking english passports and english are often not in the booth, yet returning through calais the french are often not in their booth and if they are they normally wave english passports through but the english officials swipe the passports and check that you match the photo, so from that i assume that they do not mind you leaving UK but are fussy who returns, what does the scanner tell them does anyone know (not assume or guess) i came back on a pm crossing last november and noticed in the back of a mondeo there was a young lady appearing from the floor from beneath a coat or two and some luggage whilst the car was waiting in the loading lane |
